K-tel’s New York City Breakers Vinyl Cover at the Olympic Exhibition on Sport and Urban Cultures
We are thrilled to announce that K-Tel’s iconic vinyl cover for “Break-Master” by the New York City Breakers is featured in the SPOT24 exhibition, part of the lead-up to the Olympic Games Paris 2024!
Located next to the Eiffel Tower, this interactive exhibition celebrates six new urban Olympic sports: skateboarding, sport climbing, BMX freestyle, surfing, 3×3 basketball, and breaking. Curated by François Gautret, the exhibition explores the vibrant intersection of sport and urban culture through artworks, original creations, objects, and archives. Our vinyl cover’s inclusion is a testament to its cultural significance and the timeless appeal of the New York City Breakers. As a label deeply rooted in urban culture, we are honoured to be part of this innovative space, appreciating the unique blend of art, music, and sport that defines urban culture.
SPOT24 is a collaboration between the Olympic Museum and the Paris tourism office, and runs until December 31, 2024. For more information about the SPOT24 exhibition, please visit the Olympic Museum’s website.
